The Scouseadelic rock sound of Joe Symes and the Loving Kind return with a new single and video to precede their upcoming album which will hit the ears shortly. Guest writer and honorary Manc Scouser Karl Hildebrandt shows his love for the tunesmiths once again…

I’m writing this whilst sitting in The Grapes on Matthew Street, getting the vibes from that Ley line that pulses through the city of Liverpool and listening to the latest tune from Joe Symes And The Loving Kind. I often sit in somewhere that quality has sat and it inspires me. I’ve followed (and supported live) this band of brothers. Top noise and tunes that stand on the shoulders of giants. There’s a new album in the pipeline and gigs on the way but this is the taster and it’s very tasty indeed. A shimmering melody soaked in both Scouseadelica and Californian sunshine. Have a look at The video as well. A perfect accompaniment to the song, it drips the images perfectly. Found and filmed images fit together to give you an idea of the band and the song. I’m looking forward to the new album when it lands and also seeing the boys on stage again.
